Emotions Affects your Belly Fat

Emotions Affect belly Fat

To some of us it might sound untrue, but its a fact that emotion affects your belly fat.

STRESS

If you are adding stress to your life, remember its also adding a little amount of fat along with it. Stay Stress-Free and live a health life.

DEPRESSION

We all know how hard it is to deal with a depression, but the depression makes it even harder for us by interfering with our hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis and thus increasing abdominal fat. 🙁

SHAME

If you don’t know, then this is the time for you to know that shame is a powerful emotion and emotion play foul with your belly fat. Studies show that  it’s actually been identified as a key trigger for binge-eating and other disordered eating and exercise habits that can ultimately lead to weight gain and excess belly fat.

CONTENTEDNESS

There’s a fine line between contentedness and complacency. Sometimes when things are going well in our lives, it’s easy to slip into comfortable habits that ultimately aren’t doing our bodies any favors (Netflix nights with a big bowl of ice cream, anyone?). Instead, find ways to line up your happy place with your healthy place: take your dog for a walk with your favorite tunes on, or meet up with a friend to take a relaxing yoga class in the park!

ANXIETY

Anxiety causes similar hazard as in depression. Anxiety can also leave you feeling paralyzed when it comes to making positive health choices, often making things that might elevate your mood‒for instance, an endorphin-releasing trip to the gym, or a motivating phone call with a friend‒feel completely out of the question.

FEAR OF FAILURE

Sometimes, when we’re afraid of failing at something, we never even try—and if you find that a fear of failure makes you avoid certain activities, your waistline could be suffering the consequences.

FEAR OF SUCCESS

Try drawing two columns in a notebook: on one side, write down reasons you’re motivated to shed your belly, and on the other, write down the worst drawback you can think of to achieving that success. You might just reveal mental roadblocks you didn’t know you had: a fear that losing the weight won’t help you earn your crush’s affection or that you don’t know if you can keep up a fitter figure after losing initial weight. Whatever it is, making a list will help you name your enemy.

LONELINESS

Loneliness results in lower self regulation which often leads to less healthy eating habits and becoming less and less physically active and the result is gaining of fat.

COPING WITH ALCOHOL

Higher level of visceral fat is often linked with consumption of alcohol. It is bad for your mind, body, and more specifically your midsection.

FALLING IN LOVE

Well Well Well, last but not the least if you are falling in love or you are planning to get married or may be you are just married.

We do congratulate you and wish you a great future but the consequences can be gaining weight. The effect on weight gain can be from relaxed expectations, and new kitchen habits formed as a couple.
