The news of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has jolted the entire nation. The actor was found hanging in his Bandra home on Sunday.
Many of them also quoted the dialogue from his last film, “Chhichhore”, directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
Ironically, the film dealt with the pressure faced by engineering students when they are sitting down for their entrance exams. In the movie, Anni, the character played by Rajput, is an engineer himself whose son is appearing for the exams but he is under pressure to perform well as his father has a lot of expectations from him.
He, then, made a suicide attempt and was injured. Anni had then realized his mistake and had taken it upon himself to tell him the story of his life in an engineering college and how ‘suicide is not an option.’
The dialogue was extensively quoted by netizens, who also pointed out the irony behind it now.
