6 civilians injured in Baramulla grenade attack.



At least six civilians were injured on Monday when terrorists lobbed a grenade at an Army vehicle in Baramulla district. The grenade had missed the target and exploded on the road, which led to injuries to civilians present in the area.

The attack came a day after terrorists attacked a police post in Sopore area of Baramulla district with a grenade. There was no loss of life or injury in yesterday’s incident.

“Terrorists lobbed a grenade on an Indian Army vehicle in Baramulla today. But the grenade missed the vehicle and exploded on the road, injuring six civilians present at the spot,” the Jammu & Kashmir Police were reported as saying.

 

The injured were rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
