Huge amount of drug recovered after Police chased a suspected car from Belgharia Expressway. Though the 3 drug smugglers escaped leaving the card. 160 kg of cannabis was recovered from the vehicle with a market value of about Rs 10 lakh.
According to police sources, drugs were being smuggled from Orissa to Kolkata and information about the vehicle is being gathered by contacting the police there.
Besides the traffickers, the police are also investigating where the drugs were supplied.
