A month later, Rhea Chakraborty was granted bail, her brother Shouvik’s Bail was denied.

Rhea Chakraborty was released from jail after a long months stay in jail. On Wednesday, the Bombay High Court granted conditional bail to the actress in the SSR drug case. The judge granted bail to Rhea in exchange for a personal bond of Rs one lakh.

The court ordered Rhea to appear in the police station at specified time post bail. Also the passport of the actress must be submitted to court. The Bombay High Court has ordered Rhea not to leave Greater Mumbai without informing the court and the investigating officer.

Out of the total 5 accused in this case, 3 got bail. Apart from Rhea, Samuel Miranda and Deepesh Shaon got bail. However the court rejected the Bail plea of two persons including Rhea’s brother Souvik.

Yesterday, the special court had ordered to extend the term of custody of Rhea till October 20.

Earlier, in a 48-page bail application filed in the Bombay High Court, Rhea claimed that Sushant used cannabis alone. Samuel used to bring marijuana with Miranda and Deepesh Sawant. Sushant’s cook Neeraj told CBI and Mumbai police that Sushant had asked him to make a cannabis joint three days before his death.
As he said, he made a joint and put it in a box in Sushant’s room. The box was found empty after death. That means all the joints of cannabis are over! This proves that Sushant used to eat cannabis alone.
