
As Flights Resumes Operation from Today on various parts of the country, Aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri annouced that flight passengers do not need 14-day quarantine.
“The quarantine issue will be dealt with in a pragmatic manner. We can’t have 14 days quarantine. It is not practical,” the aviation minister said.
THINGS TO KNOW
- Flyers will be allowed into the terminal building if their flights are within four hours.
- Coivd Positive Passengers will not be allowed in terminal nor be allowed to board the flight.
- Travellers need to reach airport at least two hours before the scheduled departure.
- The boarding for flight will commence 60 minutes before departure.
- The boarding gate will be closed 20 minutes before departure.
- Only flyers with confirmed web check-in will be allowed to enter an airport terminal.
- The civil aviation ministry added that there will be no physical check-in at counters.
- Passengers must compulsorily walk through a thermal screening zone before entering the airport terminal building.
- Masks and gloves are mandatory for all.
- All the flyers must install Aarogya Setu app on their phones except the children below the age of 14 years.
- Only one check-in bag will be permitted and airlines will not provide any meal services in flights.
- Newspapers and magazines will not be provided in the terminal building/lounges.
- Trolleys will not be allowed in the arrival or departure sections, except for special cases.
The Flight Service Resumes today as of Monday 25th May 2020, almost in all parts of India after about being stopped for 2 months.
