The three-storey building collapsed around 3:40 am on september twenty one within the Patel compound space in Maharashtra’s Thane district. The collapse took 41 lives till now. Case registered against the building owner.
The death toll in the Bhiwandi building collapse in Maharashtra has risen to 41, the National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) informed on Thursday. The incident took place on September 21 and the rescue operation is still underway.
On Wednesday, the police had stated that the death toll in the Bhiwandi building collapse rose to 39, with the recovery of 14 more bodies overnight. However, two more bodies recovered today morning, taking the death toll to 41.
