While protest erupted across the country in relation to the gang rape of 19-year old in Adityanath’s State. At that time Sima Samriddhi the lawyer of Nirbhaya Case of 16 December 2012 where a paramedical student was gang-raped on a running bus. She fought the case and stood with the family of that girl. Lawyer Seema Samridhi Kushwa has decided to ask the court for justice on behalf of the girl from Hathras.
Seema was the lawyer of the victim’s parents from the very beginning in the Nirvayakanda case. She presented every information of the case in a thorough manner and strongly questioned.
She is also a legal advisor to Jyoti Trust. Seema, a student of Delhi University, one of the best educational institutions in the country, started practicing law in the Supreme Court in 2014. She has been associated with the trust since January 24, 2014.
Incidentally, even after Unnao’s rape death, she announced that she would fight the case on her behalf.
The 19-year-old girl was gang-raped on September 14 in Hathras, western Uttar Pradesh. Police have arrested four people in this regard. The Dalit girl’s family claimed her tongue was cut out. The girl died at Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital after 14 days of fighting.
